Milano!

Hi everyone!  This is my blog.  I've decided to start now so that I can keep everyone updated about my upcoming extended stay abroad.  I will be studying at the Politecnico Di Milano Facolta Del Design.

I will leave in the middle of February.  The semester starts March 2nd and lasts until the end of June.  but I could potentially be there through July depending on my final exam schedule.

This is a photo of Il Duomo, the Cathedral in Milano.  It is the second largest in the world behind St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican.  It can hold 40,000 people and holds one of the nails from the crucifixion of Christ.  Interesting stuff!!  Keep checking my blog for more fun facts, updates about my trip, and my acceptance letters which I will scan and put up as soon as they are delivered.  My advisor said they should be here any day, one in English and one in Italian!
